Benefits of Membership:

Being a CTCA member is a distinctive recognition in itself. Membership designates you as a member of the only Canadian professional body for telecommunications consultants.

Listing in the CTCA Directory

Your listing in the CTCA website directly identifies you as an active member and provides your coordinates and areas of expertise. This directory is often requested by organizations looking for a telecommunications consultant.

Networking

The CTCA offers an opportunity for members to share experiences and find out how others meet the challenges of a constantly-changing business environment. Networking with Supplier Liaison Group representatives at conferences and other CTCA events helps smooth the way for timely and comprehensive responses to your needs.

Joint Venturing

Consultants sometimes need to put together teams for specific projects, or to subcontract work to another consultant. The CTCA provides an ideal way to learn about other consultants' areas of expertise and explore areas of mutual interest.

Conferences and Regional Events

Twice-yearly CTCA conferences are designed specifically to meet the needs of Canadian telecommunications consultants. Presentations include tutorials on current and emerging technologies, new services and tariffs, and aspects of running a successful consulting practice. In addition, regional-based events are organized throughout the year. Seminars and workshops are presented by consultant members, the Supplier Liaison Group, or other qualified speakers.

LMS Prolink Exclusive Insurance Program

The CTCA has partnered with LMS PROLINK Ltd, a full service brokerage, to offer insurance solutions tailored to your profession. This partnership program offers the following benefits:

  • Professional Liability
  • Commercial General Liability ('CGL')
  • Group Benefits Plan

CTCA members will save at least 20% on their liability insurance through the CTCA program. To learn more about this valuable member benefit contact Andrew Spencer, LMS PROLINK Program Manager for the CTCA, at 416-644-7715 or 1-800-663-6828 or Andrews@lms.ca.

STC Alliance

The CTCA has a reciprocal agreement with the U.S.-based Society of Telecommunications Consultants. Members of each organization may attend the other's conferences at member rates.

And much more!

Like most things in life... the more you put into your membership in the CTCA, the more you'll get back. Participating in the CTCA will enrich your professional experience and advance your consulting career in many ways.
